I was looking for something else and I found my draft card.  Remember?

    Rt. 4 Box 8 was our address in Tesuque when we lived in the house 3 houses north of El Nido.

    Hi Ed - Mike Dodge Lord here. I had to register on my 18th birthday, October 19, 1963. At almost 67, I'm not that young - dammit!

    Mr. Dodge;

    Where was or is, Route 4 Box 8?

    I am reminded of the section in the "Santa Fe New Mexican"
    "One Of Our 50 Is Missing" When I enlisted in the Military,
    I did so from Calif; and when I did they thought New
    Mexico was part of Mexico, so they (the Recruiters) had to
    send a telegram to the State Capitol, to get the information
    they were after. D.O.B. 1945; you are a young one Mr.
    Dodge

    Only too well. In my day an acceptable ID for underage drinking!
