E. Palace Avenue in 1944

This is related to Mike Lord's post whose great-grandparents lived on E. Palace in the early 1900's.  This shows who lived on E. Palace three decades later.  Do you recognize any names?

    where I grew up. Mi barrio. First, I well remember Hinkle's on the Plaza corner of Washington and Palace. E. Palace: 340 Elliot Barker. 330 John and richie March, my aunt and uncle. Originally home of Governor Seligman. 529 Played with Ben Castle. 535 Played with Booker Kelly. 542 Played with Cubby (Seth), Andy, and Nickie Montgomery. 606 had football game with carl Walter 605 Got a lot of hand-me-downs from Johnny Stauffer, Viginia's son. 610 Mi casa. L.B. Scott was my step-father at the time. 614-616 1/2 were apartments owned by Cosuelo Cahavez Summers, my mother's best friend. Her son was Amado Summers. Also lots of hand-me-downs. 638 Mrs John Updike/Blythe school. My first school until 5th grade. then Carlos Gilbrt. 639 Paul A. F. Walter, Santa Fe pioneer and historian. Carl's grandfather with a very large lawn for footbaall sometimes skiing and sledding on their little hill.
